Adventure racing and dancing

Short... School is busy, work is still going... Today I'm going to Örnsköldsvik for the National championship in adventure racing that take's place Friday night to Saturday afternoon/evening. It's gonna be about 15 hours of non-stop racing... mtb, running kayaking, inlines....

2. Dancing is a lot of fun, I'm training with Lule Bugg & Swing. Mondays is dedicated to Boogie-Woogie, Tuesdays are gonna be lindy own training and bugg competition (I hope), Wednesday is Bugg, Sundays are lindy hop but also social dancing bugg with the university.

The last 2 days, two different girls have asked me about being their partner, one (that I'm kind of already paired up with for individual training) for BW/Lindy at a competition here in the fall, the other for competition trainings in bugg (her partner lives in another town). Both requests, together with my current passion for dancing, feels really great and the bugg discussion especially about training together is a BIG acception for me and my dancing so I hope I can keep up and make progress!

PS3. I was challenged by a girl tonight, that before end of april 2008, I will be able to go down in a 'split', and so does she. Puuh... I've about 50 cm now until I make it, she has about 40 - I need to start force stretching...

Finally, I'm back in Luleå and things starts come in place

The weekend after GBLX I moved to Luleå. But first my car broke down, 2ish hours before I was suppose to leave. I hade some luck and could find new pieces in just a couple of hours and finally on Sunday I arrived Luleå, Monday morning I started working at the university's computer central.
Because of all the new students it has been a really stressful time and after the first week in 2nd line I moved to the first line and service desk, almost only receiving calls and serve people (both employed and students) coming asking for help about computer related problems.

So, this work was 8 h/day but then I went training 1 hour of something, kayking, mtb or anything, that I promise myself that I really need theese days. This was followed by studying math physics to my make-up exam I had last Wednesday. I studied till midnightish every night for these 10 days and felt good about the exam but when I finally wrote it, it was tricked a lot and I will probably need some luck to actually pass. The average amount passing this class is less than 10%, it's only physics students taking it and it's the hardest math class we ever take.

Well, Friday night last week we went dancing at Käcktjärn and it was a lot of fun. Many great dancers gave me an awesome time and I was so motivated keep studying after such a good night.

Now after the exam, I've started living again, and train a bit more. Was doing both body pump (wt lifting in group) and  inlines on Friday before go clubbing at the schools night club. Yeah, on Tuesday night it was also a dance event at the school that I was doing, and I met lots of sweet girls ;-) but thought I was doing the best not progressing any relation with anyone. I have a friend that told me one of her friends was interested of me (that I danced many dances with) and said I should call her but I didn't really do so but I sent her some texts... well, the best is still never expect anything cuz tonight she was making out with another guy, just an hour after my friend kept pushing me I have to call her tomorrow. It was still a good night and lots of people, old friends and many more who made it to an awesome night!

Today Saturday, me and some other friends went climbing at Källsberget in Älvsbyn. It was a tough rock with mostly >7 grades (>=11 in the US grade system) but with some dogging it was a good day climbing. It was long since last time.

This night we went clubbing again, the final night before school starts, and it was incredible much people. It was fun!

Tomorrow I also have my first class of lindy hop with Luleå Bugg & Swing. I'm really longing for that!!
Good night... 5am and I need some sleep....
