A relaxed time in Denver
So this trip to Denver has been one of my most relaxed periods in a long time. I haven't done that much, but it has been quite a good time. I still know though, that I want things to happen more frequently then it has these weeks and I sure have learnt some important things about life...
So, how about my time here so far? Well, arrived late Tuesday night....
-Wednesday I got things set up, phone working, doing laundry and such a stuff. Good night of swing dancing....
-Thursday I took a private with Danielle Hatley and then I joined the Chasers dance troupe's practice. I had another good night of swing dancing...
-Friday, hang out with Kristen in Centennial. A really relaxed day, played around a little bit with a lax stick and was looking for a cat that ran away.
-Saturday. Practiced with the guys dance troup, BFA - Balls for Aerials. Good time with lots of necessary jazz moves for guys. In the night we had a blues party at Pedros place (where I stay) so had awesome blues dancing the rest of the night till the morning.
-Sunday. Slept most of the time before noon... then we made the 16th street mall (main street downtown Denver) before we went West Coast Swing dancing. It was a lot of fun trying that, but I often got the comment 'you're a lindy hopper, aren't you?' Comment: westies do not bounce, which the lindy hoppers emphasize a lot.
-Monday. Was shopping at Colorado Mills, a big shopping center west of Denver. Started with some school projects that wasn't finished back in Sweden. Practiced some jazz and weight lifting on my own.
-Tuesday. Didn't do much. Went lindy dancing in the night, kept working on school in the day. Visited some friends.
-Wednesday. Went little more shopping at Mills. Also went to School of Mines where I spent my night,
seeing Cory, Matt and some other friends. Tried out their new climbing wall and the weight room. It was awesome seeing the people at the school, they are so active and inspired me a lot what they think life is about.
-Thursday. Was doing school before I went to the Mercury Cafe for dance practice with Charleston Chasers. Then I followed Pedro to the tattooer. Eventually we danced even more in the night at the Merc.
-Friday. I and Katie drove up to Jones pass (close to a mine) and did some back country skiing (nordic) which was awesome! I've missed it and this was my first time nordic skiing in the US. Not an adventure really, but still so good just getting outside a bit.
In the night I met a friend from Colorado Springs and then we went dancing at the Turnverein. But it was really slow music in general so I was a bit out of mood.
-Saturday. Today I'm soon leaving for some alpine skiing up in the mountains. I'm looking forward to it!

Really enjoyed catching up. Sounds like you are enjoying the trip.
Any word on Monday night? Also, maybe I can get my shorts back. Text or call me about Monday.
